Shri Pundalik Kohlatkar ji

My Bansuri Teacher/ Guru has attained his Sangeet Kala Visharad (degree) from Gayan Kovid Vishwa Vidyalaya Kheragad, Gayan Visharad from Prachin Kala Kendra Chandigarh, Namely Tabla and Harmonium Visharad. Pundalik Sir first taught Tabla to Varun Shah for 1 year after which he started to teach bansuri to him which he has been teaching for 4-5 years. He has been training Varun in Indian Classical Shastriya Sangeet, and has taught him knowledge of around 20-25 ragas.

Divya Kumar ( Bach remedy trainer )

Dr. Geeta has learnt bach flower remedy cure under Divya Kumar, who is
a specialist trainer in the art. Bach flower remedies are an old form of flower
therapy that was discovered by Dr. Edward Bach.

Jharna Vyas

Jharna ji teaches vocal classical music to Dr. Geeta Shah. as her name signifies, is a stream of mellifluous and enchanting melody of music. Music flows through her veins as a genetic force. Both her parents are renowned musicians and vocalists. Her father, Shri Menjor Singh as well as her mother Smt.Sumati Devi were professional practitioners of classical art and music.

Jharna ji now lives and practices in Mumbai, from her previous childhood home in Manipur. She has attained various levels of classical recognition and learning, from post graduation in the field to “A+” ranking in her music therapy exams. She is also a music therapist, and has accomplished an MA in vocal sangeet. She also serves as a guest lecturer in institutions like Bharti vidya bhavan and Hindu street mandal.

Her husband, Shri Vijaydutt Vyas is also a brilliant percussionist. She receives steady, strong and rhythmic support from him and his companionship in the divine world of music as well as worldly life. Jharna ji has trained under stalwarts like Dr. Prabha Atre (classical vocal music), late shri Dhruba Ghose, Late shre Purushottam Jalota (devotional music), Shri Purushottam Upadhyay, Late shri. Dakshesh Dhruv, Shri Udayan Maroo (Gujarati and Hindi light music) and Late Smt. Afroz Bano(Ghazal and semiclassical).

Jharna ji has been honored with “Womens day award” by Jamnagar chamber of commerce and industry, for her excellent works in the field of Gujrati music being a non Gujrati(Manipuri) in the year 2009. She is also a approved artist in AIR Mumbai, having also done Manipuri voice overs for companies like Tata sky, Airtel and Ponds as well as cut her individual Sugam Sangeet albums in Gujrati.
